A Week of Connection and Collaboration
CC24 was amazing on many levels. Being in Bvlbancha (land of many toungues, aka New Orleans) surrounded by sacred waters, energized by the local sights, sounds, food and music of the city was magical. CC24 led with all the right notes from planning to the plenaries. In the midst of dire global controversies we had daily reminders: “We are here to fight fascism, not each other.” — “We are vulnerable enough to be wrong and learn from each other” — “We can live in this country and lean in to complexity.” — “There is no more creative mind than the Queer Mind to find strategies for freedom.”
